Frank Contemporaries is a pop-up exhibition showcasing emerging artists and creative community resources; an event that offers artists, students, arts professionals and industry insiders the opportunity to present their work, discover new peers and supporters, and foster professional connections.
Frank Contemporaries on March 28 will be a special edition in honor of Women’s History Month 2019. This exhibition will feature the multimedia string artworks of Jamaican artist Michelle S. Drummond, resident artist at The Arts Warehouse arts incubator in Delray Beach, as well as an interpretive dance performance by the multidisciplinary artists of FLUXUS HAUS led by choreographer and producer Agatha Wright. This event will include a presentation by the representatives of Girl Power, a Miami-based non-profit that enables young girls to build confidence, competence and personal pride through workshops and programs that address the risks and consequences associated with substance abuse, low self-esteem, lack of education and more.
This event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
