Broward County Cultural Division and the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery announces the workshop: Arts & Numbers: A Financial Guide for Artists, Writers, Performers, and Other Members of the Creative Class, taking place at The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery and Exhibit Hall. This curriculum will be presented by Elaine Grogan Luttrull – author, artist, CPA and owner of Minerva Financial Arts – who specializes in building financial literacy for creative individuals and organizations through education and coaching.
This workshop is based off Luttrull’s book, Arts & Numbers, in which helps creative professionals find the same confidence in their financial dealings as in their chosen mode of expression. It is an accessible guide that covers a variety of must-know topics, such as budgeting, cash management, visual charting, taxes, employment, and business etiquette. All these topics will be covered during Luttrull’s seminar and all participants will receive a copy of Arts & Numbers as a companion to the course. Creative professionals of all types, artists, actors, writers, musicians, freelancers, dancers, performers, and more are invited to attend this seminar.
