"In Between" Exhibition Walk-through

Enjoy an artist-led tour of the exhibition "In Between," a retrospective presenting works created by Yochi Yakir-Avin between 2015-2020. Showcased in The Frank’s Third Space Gallery, this exhibition reflects Yakir-Avin’s technical education in Israel and Italy, and displays her ability to communicate clearly through both figuration and abstraction. 


From The Frank to You: Conversations with The Curator

In this lighthearted, free flowing discussion series, The Chief Curator of The Frank interviews prominent curators, gallery directors, exhibition coordinators and arts administrators throughout South Florida and the United States. Listeners will learn about each curator's career development story, key resources for curatorial practices, advice to artists for exhibition proposals, favorite exhibition concepts, and fun-filled 'behind the scenes' anecdotes.

Michelle Weinberg

Michelle Weinberg is an artist, educator, curatorial consultant and Creative Director of Girls’ Club. With a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and an MFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Weinberg has a venerable record of national exhibitions and awards such as the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award and a South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship in Visual and Media Art. 

Sophie Bonet

Sophie Bonet is the Lead Curator at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has worked in the curatorial departments of organizations such the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and Village Design Gallery. She is the founder of Arts Des Femmes, an all-female multidisciplinary traveling exhibition. 

Meaghan Kent

Meaghan Kent is the Curator of Exhibitions at the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood in Florida. She is the Founder of Site95, an organization that holds exhibitions in available spaces in Miami and New York. With a curatorial career spanning fifteen years, her exhibitions have been reviewed in The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, and The New York Times.
