Join us for a special Family Day as part of commUNITY: 250 Years in the Making, a citywide initiative celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary through creativity, collaboration, and shared experiences.
This intergenerational program invites families to reflect on what it means to belong, to care for one another, and to shape a collective future—together.
Visitors will:
- Engage with storytelling sessions followed by art-making activities
- Explore themes of community, cooperation, and civic life through creative play and reflection
- Enjoy free entry to the gallery
At the heart of the experience is a simple but powerful idea: community is something we build together.
All ages and abilities are welcome—no prior art experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to participate.
Saturday, June 13 | 11 AM - 1 PM | Enjoy a reading of "Be Kind" by Pat Zietlow Miller followed by face painting and light refreshments.
